With the introduction of Caredirector, the GATE will be changing. There will be some changes to the names of the sections and the addition of some extra functionality. Overall however the form will remain similar.
It is intended to be a simple tool which allows the recording of clinical information about almost any case clinicians need to see. Those clinicians are reminded what needs to be covered by the CHECK-LISTS on this website.
There will be people who present with problems which are not appropriately covered by the check-lists. If that is the case within your service then ask your manager about developing your own check-list and guidance. This can then be added to the website making it available to all.
